The role will involve having a strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum as you will be working with one of the year 6 classes in this two form entry school. Students will need as much support as possible due to their SATs examinations being completed at the end of the year. You will have to work 1:1 with them or on a small group basis in order to develop their understanding and get them prepared for their SATs.

As well as the hard work the students have to put in during the course of the year, they will also be rewarded for their efforts. You will have to help organise the year 6 production alongside the class teacher so if you are keen on drama this would be a big incentive.

Located in Purley the school is nearby a train station with fast routes into Croydon and London. There are also many bus links surrounding the school to aid the commute of those who would travel by public transport.
