Ortus recruitment are working closely with an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ school for a Teaching assistant. The ideal candidate should have previous experience working in schools and with SEN.

The candidate should also be familiar with the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 curriculum and be able to work in groups inside and outside the classroom and on a 1:1 basis.

The role consists of helping teachers plan lessons and support children with learning and development. They should deliver and monitor work to meet the needs of their education and health as well as adapting well to support each pupil.

The school is in the vibrant area of Thornton Heath which offers a great community and plenty of access to shops and public transport for easy commutes.
