Teaching Assistant – Kingston – KS2

Ortus Recruitment are looking to recruit a keen and ambitious individual for a Primary School situated in Kingston. The school is rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has an excellent unit of staff who work closely together to ensure the pupils are achieving excellence across the Primary curriculum.

Therefore, we are always after strong teaching assistant enthusiasts to join our list of available staff to carry out the needs within these schools.

To be a successful supporting teaching assistant we look for:

• Passionate, caring and supporting individuals with an interest in the education sector

• Strong communication and organization skills

• Confident in their ability to provide, support and engage in lessons

• Experience dealing and supporting children, ideally between ages 5-11

• Have a DBS ready or able to apply for one

Having any relevant qualifications, previous experience as a teaching assistant, working with SEN students or carrying out activities for children in the past will shortlist your application.
