About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive school in Sutton. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students in their learning journey and work closely with teachers to create a positive educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students who need additional assistance.
• Assist in the planning and preparation of learning materials.
• Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Help manage classroom behavior effectively.
• Support children with special educational needs (SEN) where required.
• Encourage students’ social and emotional development.
• Carry out administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• A passion for education and supporting children’s development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• A patient and caring approach.
• Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certification) are advantageous.
• An enhanced DBS check will be required.
