Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 pro rata (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-time / Part-time – Term time only
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner if available)

A Primary School is looking to appoint a dedicated and nurturing Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a welcoming school that values inclusivity, creativity, and a commitment to helping every child achieve their best.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support pupils across the curriculum in small groups and on a one-to-one basis
• Assist class teachers with planning, preparation, and classroom management
• Help to create a positive and engaging learning environment
• Provide targeted support to children with additional learning needs
• Contribute to the school’s ethos of high expectations and inclusion

We are looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
• Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning)
• Is patient, flexible, and committed to children’s development
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Works well as part of a team and uses initiative when required
