Job Title: Teaching Assistant (Primary School)
Location: Croydon, London
Salary: £85 – £100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only
Start Date: September 2025

Our dedicated team works closely to support the academic and emotional development of every child. We are now seeking a passionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to join us from September 2025.
The Role:
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across a range of abilities, including those with additional needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and gain hands-on classroom experience in a supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning activities
- Work one-to-one or in small groups with pupils who need extra support
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
- Encourage positive behaviour and help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Provide feedback to teachers and parents on pupil progress
- Support children with personal care if required (training will be provided)
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting (preferred)
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
