Learning Support Assistant (EYFS)

Our partnered mainstream primary school in the heart of Brixton is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to work within their Early Years department from September. This position is well-suited to a graduate in Psychology, Maths, or English or someone with professional experience supporting young children. The role will focus on supporting pupils aged 3–5 with communication and social development, including those with additional needs or requiring more focused emotional support. This role will be a full time and long term position and the successful candidate will be a valued member of staff in the EYFS team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience working with young children or an Early Years-related background
  • A degree in a core subject or Psychology is advantageous (not essential)
  • Calm, nurturing, and confident when working 1:1 or in small groups
  • Must be willing to apply for an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or have one on the Update Service
  • Available full-time from September 2025
