Salary: £89–£100 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-Time | Term Time Only

An inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in Sheffield is seeking a committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our supportive team from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with pupils who need additional help to thrive in the classroom.

About the Role:

• Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND
• Assist teachers with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Help pupils engage with the curriculum and achieve their learning goals
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and external professionals to implement support strategies

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting (essential)
• A nurturing, patient and empathetic approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative and dynamic team
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Desirable:

• Knowledge of autism, ADHD, or speech & language needs
• Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
