Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and inclusive team at a thriving primary school in Sheffield. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is committed to helping children reach their full potential in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and small group support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.

Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging learning activities.

Support pupils with additional needs, promoting inclusion and independence.

Monitor progress and contribute to record-keeping and assessments.

Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children in a school or childcare setting (voluntary or paid).

A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for education.

A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
