Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per annum (pro rata, depending on experience)

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team at a friendly and inclusive primary school in Croydon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is motivated to help children thrive both academically and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, both individually and in small groups.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver creative and engaging learning experiences.
• Assist with classroom management, resource preparation and behaviour support.
• Support children with additional or special educational needs as required.
• Help maintain a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, patient and flexible approach to supporting young learners.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
