Salary: £90 – £100 per day (depending on experience)

A primary school in Croydon is seeking a confident and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 2 pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role is well-suited to someone who can build strong relationships and provide consistent support to help pupils overcome barriers to learning.
The Role:
- Provide one-to-one and group support for KS2 pupils with SEMH needs
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being in the classroom
- Implement tailored strategies to help pupils remain engaged in learning
- Support teachers in delivering a structured, safe, and nurturing environment
- Encourage resilience, independence, and confidence in pupils
About You:
- Experience working with children with SEMH or behavioural needs is essential
- Strong interpersonal and de-escalation skills
- Patient, consistent, and able to work under pressure
- A positive role model for pupils
