About the Role

As an Inclusion Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to provide tailored support for students both inside and outside the classroom.

Your responsibilities will include:

Student Support

• Providing 1:1 and small group support
• Supporting students with SEN, SEMH, or additional learning needs
• Encouraging student confidence, independence, and engagement

Classroom Assistance

• Supporting learning activities across the curriculum
• Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management

Pastoral & Behaviour Support

• Building positive relationships with pupils
• Supporting emotional wellbeing and behaviour management
• Acting as a positive role model throughout the school day

Candidate Requirements

✔ Passionate about supporting children and young people
✔ Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Comfortable and Experienced in supporting students with additional needs (SEN)
✔ Experience working with children or young people is necessary
