Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a primary school setting?

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in West Drayton, London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The Role – SEN Teaching Assistant

• Provide 1:1 support for pupils with SEN, particularly ASD
• Support pupils within the classroom to help them engage with lessons and activities
• Work closely with the class teacher to support individual learning plans (IEPs)
• Encourage positive behaviour and support pupils’ social and emotional development
• Assist with monitoring student progress and reporting feedback to teaching staff
• Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

Requirements

• Minimum 3–6 months experience working with children with SEN
• Experience supporting Autism (ASD) is essential
• Level 3 qualification or degree-level education preferred
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and support staff
