Ortus Recruitment is currently partnering with a welcoming and high-achieving mainstream Primary School in the London Borough of Lambeth, who are seeking a passionate and creative Performing Arts Graduate Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate with a background in Performing Arts, Drama, Psychology, Education, Sports Coaching or Youth Work who is looking to gain valuable experience within a primary school setting. The school has been recognised as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and is known for its supportive Senior Leadership Team, strong staff culture, and commitment to pupil development. The successful candidate will use creativity and enthusiasm to engage pupils in learning, support classroom activities, and help build pupils’ confidence and social skills.

About the Role:

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday
• Working hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm
• Supporting pupils across the primary age range
• Using creative and artistic approaches to support learning and engagement
• Assisting the class teacher with classroom management and learning activities
• Supporting children with additional needs and varying learning abilities

• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one
