  • Providing additional support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) where required
  • Encouraging positive behaviour, engagement, and participation in lessons
  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Preparing classroom resources and assisting with daily classroom routines
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents, and carers
  • Acting as a positive role model and promoting the school’s values at all times

Applicants should ideally have:

  • Previous experience working within a school or educational setting
  • Experience supporting children, including those with additional learning needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
  • A flexible and adaptable approach to working in a busy school environment
  • The confidence to use initiative and work independently when required
  • A positive attitude and genuine passion for supporting young learners
  • Excellent punctuality, reliability, and professionalism

This role would suit experienced Teaching Assistants, graduates considering a career in education, or individuals looking to gain further classroom experience before progressing into teacher training or other child-focused professions.
