Classroom Assistant | Primary School | Vauxhall | September 2026 Start | £93 – £110 Per Day (PAYE)

Ortus Recruitment is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in the Vauxhall area, starting in September 2026. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development and will have experience working with pupils aged 3–11.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to become part of a supportive school team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work effectively alongside teachers and other members of staff to support pupil progress.

The role is full-time and long-term, with working hours from 8:30am to 4:00pm. Following a successful trial day, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to continue in this position throughout the academic year.

Requirements:

• A recent graduate with a 2:1 degree or above.
• Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
• Confident supporting pupils across the primary curriculum.
• Reliable, adaptable, and able to take initiative.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine interest in helping children achieve their educational goals.
