About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with classroom teachers to support pupils’ learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teachers with classroom activities and helping to deliver effective learning experiences.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Helping pupils understand instructions, develop independence, and engage positively with their learning.
• Supporting inclusion by assisting pupils with different learning needs.
• Providing constructive feedback to pupils to encourage progress and achievement.
• Assisting with the preparation and organisation of learning activities.
• Monitoring pupils’ progress and recording achievements as directed by teaching staff.
• Communicating regularly with teachers regarding pupil development, achievements, and any concerns.
