Classroom Assistant | Kennington | £93 – £110 PAYE | Full Time | September 2026 Start

Ortus Recruitment are seeking an experienced Classroom Assistant based in the Kennington area to support a KS2 class in one of our partnered primary schools. The school is a mainstream primary school situated in a vibrant area with excellent transportation links. The successful candidate will need to have experience working with children on a one-to-one basis or in groups. Requirements:

• Graduate of a core subject (Maths, English, Science, Psychology, Drama)
• Experience working with children in a professional environment
• Experience working with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Able to develop positive relationships
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
