Ortus Recruitment is working closely with a wonderful primary school based in the heart of Hounslow. Our partner school is warm and welcoming with a brilliant attitude of team work across all staff members, they are Ofsted rated Good, with and Outstanding Early Years provision.

They are currently looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a Reception pupil with Autism on a 1:1 basis. The child is pre verbal, so experience with speech and language development and tecnics such as PECs would be of great value.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to work Monday to Friday supporting the pupil both in class and out of classroom, from 08:30 – 16:00. This is an ongoing post with the potential to develop into a permanent contact for the right candidate, this role is due to commence ASAP.

The successful Teaching Assistant must;

• Have experience working in a school setting.
• Be comfortable and confident supporting Autism.
• Have knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.
• Be a team player
• Be proactive, reliable and flexible.
