Ortus Recruitment is currently working with a mainstream primary school based in the Vauxhall area. Our partnered mainstream primary school has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rating and is based in a vibrant location with many transport links. Our partnered school is looking for an experienced candidate who has worked with primary aged children and a candidate that has experience working with SEN as the role will entail 1:1 work as well as supporting the class, liaising with the teacher to help deliver an outstanding quality education for their pupil. The school has a very lively environment with a team filled with motivated individuals and supportive senior staff; now they are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant who is motivated and enthusiastic, wanting to build a career in the Education sector.

Requirements:

– Experience working with primary aged children professionally (3 – 11 years old)

– Degree in core subject (Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama/Performing Arts)

– DBS Certificate on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)

– Excellent Communication

– Excellent Time Management

– Genuine Interest and Passion for Supporting Young Vulnerable Pupil

– Full-Time Availability Monday – Friday (8.30am – 4pm)
