Ortus Recruitment are excited to present the opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work alongside the SENCo and a child who has been diagnosed with ASD. You would be responsible for working on a 1:1 basis with the child to promote a safe and inclusive enviroment for the child to thrive emotionally, socially and acedemically.

Teaching Assistant Job Details:

• 1:1 ASD Teaching Assistant
• Immediate Start
• Long-term and full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm)
• Daily rate of £75 – £90 per day
• Located in London Borough of Harrow
• Potential for career progression and teacher training in partnership with the school

The ideal candidate will have:

• A patient and motivating approach to teaching
• The ability to work in a team but also take initiative when needed
• Excellent time management and attendance
• Experience working with SEN children and a passion for supporting them
• Minimum 2:2 degree or Level 3 qualification
• A can-do attitude
