You will be responsible for helping to create a positive learning environment in the classroom and promoting good behaviour amongst students.

The 1:1 role:

The child is in Year 1 and struggles with the daily transitions such as PE back into class and lunchtime back into class. During these transition times he can become very overwhelmed causing him to lash out verbally and sometimes physically. The successful Teaching Assistant will be resilient, patient and dedicated to building a positive rapport with him to aid in his development and (with training) implement the interventions and strategies needed to have a changing impact.

Teaching Assistant Job Details:

• 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
• Immediate Start
• Long-term and full-time (Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm)
• Daily rate of £80- £95 per day
• Located in London Borough of Harrow
• Potential for career progression and teacher training in partnership with the school
