Ortus Recruitment is currently working with a highly respected mainstream primary school in Tulse Hill to find an experienced Classroom Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis. The school has an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report, and is committed to providing the highest standard of education to all of their pupils.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in Maths, English, Sciences, Psychology, Education, Drama, or Performing Arts, or relevant qualifications for working with children
• Experience working with children/young people in a professional environment, such as Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, or Volunteer work
• Strong interpersonal skills, including being friendly, confident, outgoing, reliable and being a positive role model
• A genuine interest and passion for supporting young, vulnerable pupils
• Availability for full-time work Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm

This is a full-time position offering a competitive pay rate of £75 – £90 on a PAYE basis, with no hidden deductions. Benefits include opportunities for career progression and a great referral scheme.
