A wonderful Ofsted ”GOOD” specialist primary school located in Streatham is searching for a patient, caring and dedicated 1:1 SEN Classroom Support Assistant for an immediate start. The Senior Leadership team has requested the help of Ortus Recruitment to assist them in their search for a Graduate with a passion for supporting SEN.

It is essential that you have previous child-related or SEN experience when applying for this role. If you are a Graduate with voluntary or paid employment experience supporting individuals with SEN, then my client school would love to hear from you!!

About the Classroom Support Assistant role:

• You will work 1-to-1 with students with SEN across all key stages (EYFS, KS1, KS2)
• Support students with Autism (ASC/ASD) and other SEN such as ADHD, Global Delay, Speech & Language delay, EBD, SEMH
• Run small group intervention sessions to help boost attainment
• £80 – £90 Per day (PAYE)
• Full time: 8.30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday (Term time only)

Candidate:

• Must have child-related/SEN experience
• Must be resilient, patient, calm-natured, empathetic & adaptable
• A hardworking and driven Graduate who will exceed all expectations of the role requirements
