Ortus Recruitment are searching for a resilient, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is ready to commit to a full time – long term role within a mainstream primary school. If you apply for this role you will be specifically working with EYFS and Reception, supporting them with their academic studies and any external difficulties they may be having.

The role:

• Position: EYFS/Reception Teaching Assistant
• Location: Colliers Wood
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• £80-£90 per day

Within this role you will be responsible for working 1:1 with a students who have difficulty maintaining calm behaviour within the classroom. You will be taking them out of classroom on movement breaks, to help them re-gain their focus so they can concentrate better within the lesson. Another one of your responsibilities will be to ensure that the children’s emotional, social and physical welfare is being looked after throughout the day.

In order to be considered; you will need:

• Experience working with children in a professional setting
• Must be able to commit full time, long term
• Must have a clear Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, or wiling to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52)
• Must be able to commute to the mainstream Primary school
