Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school, in Morden, and they are looking for a motivated individual to commit to a full time – long term role as a EYFS Teaching Assistant. The candidate applying for this role should have experience working with children in a professional setting, and is passionate about helping them reach their full potential in their education.

The role :

• Position : EYFS Teaching Assistant
• Location : Morden
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• 8:30am – 4pm (with an hour lunch break )
• £80-£90 per day

What will the job role include :

•  To assist pupils to remain on tasks, encourage their attention and listening skills, to ensure that their learning opportunities are maximised.
• Ensure that child protection processes and safeguarding children from harm are paramount, in every aspect of the School’s work.
• Supervise the students at break and lunch, ensuring they are safe.
• Promote independent learning
• Provide emotional support for the students throughout the course of the day.

Requirements:

• A strong academic background
• Comfortable supporting SEN
• Experience working with children in a professional setting
• A DBS on the update service or willing to process one through Ortus Recruitment (£52)
