A school located in Worcester Park are seeking a dedicated individual to commit to a full time – long term role as a Teaching Assistant, and has the availability to start immediately. The candidate applying for his role needs to have a strong understanding of the primary education and academic background, so they can help the children reach their full potential In their education.

The role :

• Position : Teaching Assistant
• Location : Worcester Park
• Full time – long term
• Immediate start
• £80-£90 per day
• 8:30am-4:00pm

What will the job role include :

• Helping the class teacher prepare the lessons, classroom and manage the class behaviour.
• Ensure the students emotional, physical and social welfare are being looked after.
• Keep record of the children’s progress, and feedback to the teachers.
• Supervise the students at break and lunch.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of working with children/ young people, e.g., Youth Work, Mentoring, Tutoring, Childcare, Voluntarily.
• Will show commitment to enhancing the school’s spiritual ethos.
• Promote and safeguard the welfare of children and young people within the school.
• A Degree in Psychology, English, Maths, Performing Arts or related field.
• Relevant experience working with children/young pupil in a social/professional environment.
