We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic and caring individuals to support our partnered school supporting children with mild/severe autism from the ages of 3 – 5 years old. Our partnered school is based in the London Borough of Lambeth in Streatham and has great transportation links.

Candidates will ideally have experience in working in an early year setting and have an affinity for working with young children.

Candidates must be able to work full-time (32.5 hours per week, 6.5 hours per day), and we can only consider candidates that have the right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor applicants).

The School:

Our partnered school provides for children with special educational needs from the ages of 3 – 11 years old. The school is a ‘GOOD’ OFSTED rated primary school with amazing facilities and resources for their pupil, including a hydrotherapy pool and a physical interactive room.

Our partnered school provides an exceptional learning environment that meets the needs of all pupils to empower and inspire all members of the community to achieve their full potential. The school’s approach to learning involves listening and observing children carefully to help construct their learning by offering them resources and experiences that enhance their explorations, as well as build their knowledge and skills.

The school is supported by a strong leadership team who care deeply about their pupils and staff, providing ongoing support and coaching in a collaborative and democratic environment.

What you’ll do:

• Care for and supervise children (aged 3 – 5 years)
• Establish and develop a great relationship with children, parents, teachers, and other classroom assistants
• Work with a team of qualified Early Years Educators
• Maintain a safe and secure environment

What you need:

• Ideally, experience of working with children in the Early Years
• Ideally, Early Years Qualifications preferred
• Clear DBS police record (willing to apply)
• Two references (from previous employer and/or educational institution)
