Ortus Recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistants to play a crucial role in providing support to teachers and students at our partnered mainstream primary schools based in the Wandsworth Borough. The successful candidates will be responsible for implementing agreed work programs with individuals or groups and assisting the teacher with planning and resource management.

Requirements:

• Graduate of a core subject (Maths, English, Science, Psychology, Drama)
• Experience working with children in a professional environment
• Experience working with SEN experience (desirable)
• Able to develop positive relationships with children
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Able to provide regular feedback to class teachers
• Able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour
• Fully Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on Update Service (or willing to apply)

Please Note: We welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children.
