Here at Ortus Recruitment we are seeking an Experienced Learning Support Assistant to join one of our thriving Mainstream Primary Schools to lead 1:1 and small group interventions across KS1 and KS2. The Job Summary:

Requirements:

• You will need to have experience working closely with children to raise their academic attainment levels either by tutoring, nannying or school based roles
• You will need to have a strong academic background educated to degree level or equivalent. A minimum Grade C in GCSE English and Math is required
• You need to have a ‘Can do’ attitude
• You need to be passionate about working alongside children, dedicated to raising their academic attainment levels
• You need to be patient and resilient, and be able to display quick problem solving skills

Main Responsibilities:

Within this role, you will be required to work across KS1 and KS2, liaising with the Class Teachers to ensure pupils are receiving the necessary support. You will be responsible for providing feedback on the pupils academic and behavioural progress to both class teachers and Parents/Carers. You will need to collect select pupils from class, and work closely with them delivering interventions on core subjects.
