Ortus Recruitment are working with a mainstream primary school in Teddington and they are looking to recruit s SEN Teaching assistant to commit to a full time-long term role, starting in September. If you apply for this role you will need more than a years’ experience working with children in a professional setting and experience working with SEN. The role is from Monday-Friday (8:30am-4:00pm), with an hour lunch.

Within this role you will be working with a year 3 student who has mild autism and you will be supporting them inside and outside the classroom. You will need to have the ability to break down the lesson and explain it in simpler terms. You will also need to ensure that you have a calm approach towards children seen as this role can be challenging.
