Position: Special Needs Teaching Assistant Location: Woolwich Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 16:30

We are currently seeking a Special Needs Teaching Assistant who is dedicated to supporting children with Autism, Speech, and Language needs.
Role Overview: In this role, you will provide 1:1 support to an Autistic child in a Year 3 class, as well as assisting the class teacher and supporting the entire class when needed. Your responsibilities will also include caring for children during break times, managing challenging behavior, and fostering positive relationships with parents. The senior leadership team at the school is supportive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere where both learners and staff can thrive.

Essential Skills Required:
- Genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
- Experience working with children with Autism/ADHD
- Natural enthusiasm for working with young children
- Ability to monitor and record a child’s progress
- Understanding of safeguarding children
- Positive, caring, energetic, can-do attitude
