Your Role:

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll have the rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with SEN, particularly those with Autism and Speech and Language needs. Your role will involve providing 1:1 support, fostering an inclusive learning environment, and assisting in creating enriching educational experiences for all students.

Duties Include:

• Providing dedicated 1:1 support to students with SEN
• Assisting the class teacher and supporting the entire class as needed
• Supervising and engaging with students during break times
• Managing challenging behavior with patience and empathy
• Building strong partnerships with parents to support student progress

Essential Skills Required:

• Genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
• Experience working with children with Autism/ADHD
• Enthusiasm for working with young children
• Ability to monitor and record student progress
• Understanding of safeguarding principles
• Positive, caring, and energetic attitude
