As a SEND Classroom Teaching Assistant, you will assist pupils individually or in groups with their learning across all curriculum areas, following the direction of the class teacher. You will also assess and report on academic progress to support ongoing success. You will work with pupils with various SEND needs such as SP & L, ADHD, ASD, impaired hearing, and vision, requiring an attentive, caring, and patient approach to suit each child’s needs.

Position: SEND Classroom Teaching Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Working alongside the class teacher in delivering lessons
• Providing 1:1 and small group support sessions to pupils
• Supporting pupils with varying SEND needs (SP&L, ASD, ADHD, impaired hearing and vision)
• Assessing and reporting on academic progress

Salary: £85 – £105 per day
