A primary school in Brixton, with an Additionally Resourced Provision for children with Autism, is looking for an engaging and patient ASD Teaching Assistant to provide academic and behavioural support for primary-aged children diagnosed with ASD. ASD Teaching Assistant | About the Role:

• Provide the best standard of care for children with a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, ASC, and other SEN needs.
• Work 1:1 with students or in small groups to help with their studies.
• Work with the SENCo, the SEN team, and the SLT to provide the best support and care for the children, creating an environment for them to flourish.
• Become a friendly and reliable face for students throughout the school.

ASD Teaching Assistant | About You:

• A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
• Resilience, fantastic interpersonal and communication skills, and a calm temperament.
• Aspirations to have a career in education or to become a psychologist.
• Dedication to providing the best education around.
