Are you a passionate and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a child’s life?

Our client, a warm and welcoming primary school in Barnet, is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and behavioural needs. This rewarding role is to begin in September 2025 and will run throughout the academic year, with the potential to continue long-term.

The Role:

• Provide 1:1 support to a child with ASD and challenging behaviour
• Implement individual behaviour management strategies
• Foster a safe, nurturing and inclusive learning environment
• Work closely with the SENCo, class teacher, and external professionals

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience supporting children with ASD and/or behavioural needs
• Calm, patient, and proactive approach
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3, TA qualification) is desirable
