We are seeking a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 2 class in the Sutton Borough. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide individualized support for a student with specific needs, helping them to reach their full potential in the classroom.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons
• Providing individualized support for the designated student
• Monitoring the student’s progress and communicating with parents and the class teacher
• Supporting the student in their social and emotional development
• Assisting with classroom management and organization

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting
• A patient and nurturing approach to working with students
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• A desire to help students succeed and reach their full potential
• Good knowledge of the curriculum
