Ortus Recruitment are supporting a Primary School in Putney who are in search of a SEN Teaching Assistant to join them in January. The successful Teaching Assistant will be working in Key Stage 1 in the school’s year 1 class.

Your duties will include

• One-to-one Support – supporting students with a variety of special education needs
• Working with students to help with class work
• Assistant class teacher with behaviour management
• Liaising with parents and teachers regarding student progress
• Report writing and observations

The school has improved significantly in recent years and was given a rating of ‘Good’ by Ofsted. There will be opportunities for development and growth for the right individual who shows passion and desire.

Requirements:

• Work as a part of a team and using your own initiative
• Experience working with children in a classroom setting
• Available full time
• Able to travel to the London borough of Wandsworth
• Degree Educated

Desirable:

• Level 3 Qualified
• Experienced as an SEN Teaching Assistant
