Ortus Recruitment is working with a three form entry a Primary school in the Sutton area, who have been graded ‘good with outstanding features’ in their most recent Ofsted inspection. The school has a fantastic unit of staff who are always working hard to ensure that pupils always exceed excellence across the primary curriculum, and they are currently seeking for a new full-time Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team.

This high achieving primary school is the ideal opportunity for someone who possesses previous classroom experience or for a recent graduate looking to build their teaching career. The ideal candidate for this position would be dedicated and passionate with a positive work ethic, have great relationship building skills, and be confident working on 1:1 basis and in group interventions.

As a Teaching Assistant you will:

· Be able to stay calm under pressure, adaptable and enthusiastic.

· Be compassionate, have a positive attitude and be encouraging.

· Good listening ability and be sensitive to each pupils’ individual needs.

· Support across the primary curriculum.

· Provide supervision on break and lunch when required.

You Must:

· Be available to work full time.

· Hold right to work in the UK.

· Previous classroom experience or experience working with children.

· Hold a fully enhanced DBS on the update service – if you do not possess a current DBS, you will have to apply (we can help guide you through the process if necessary)

· Provide recent and relevant references.

· Available immediately.

· Clear written and spoken communicator.
