ORTUS RECRUITMENT are working with a Mainstream Primary School in Rushey Green, Lewisham who are seeking a ADHD Support Worker to work 1:1 with a pupil in year 5.

Main responsibilities:

• Work 1:1 with an ADHD pupil in year 5
• Work alongside the class teacher to differentiate work that suits the needs of the pupil
• Supervise the learner in the lunch hall and playground as well as taking the pupil on movement breaks around the building
• Build a positive rapport with the pupil and encourage/maintain good behaviour and concentration in the classroom
• Build a positive rapport with the pupils parents/carers so you can provide feedback and progress reports

The ideal candidate:

• Experience working alongside pupils with SEN (ADHD preferred but transferrable skills welcome)
• Strong academic background (confident leading 1:1, small group interventions to raise attainment)
• Patient and Nurturing nature
• Available to work full time, long term
• Valid DBS on the update service (Or be willing to process one, £52)

 ***MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL TIME, LONG TERM. MONDAY – FRIDAY 08:30 – 16:00***
