Ortus Recruitment are seeking an SEN experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism on a one-to-one basis, helping them to engage with their peers and teacher and build their confidence within the classroom environment.

Located in the London Borough of Croydon, this 3 form mainstream primary school, Ofsted rated ‘Good’ features well-equipped facilities and an experienced and supportive team of mainstream educators and SEN specialists to work alongside you.

This is a full time position with an immediate start with opportunity for career progression and permanent placement.

Role Specification:

• Working one-to-one with an ASC pupil
• Full-time (Monday – Friday)
• £70- £90 rate per day

We are looking for:

• Experience working with children and SEN pupils
• Possess a level 3 Teaching qualification
• A patient and reliable individual
• Be passionate about SEN and ASC

Role Requirements:

• Level 3 Teaching qualification, i.e, CACHE level 3
• Provide 2 references
• Provide proof of right to work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update server or be willing to process a new one.
• Have 3-6 Months of classroom experience
