A four-form entry primary school in Enfield Southbury is seeking an engaging and patient ASD Teaching Assistant. In this role, you will provide academic and behavioural support to primary-aged children diagnosed with Autism, helping them thrive in a mainstream educational setting. The school boasts a supportive staff and offers training to successful candidates, providing a welcoming environment where you can grow and develop within the school.
ASD Teaching Assistant | About the Role:
- Provide the best standard of care for children with a diagnosis of ASD, ADHD, ASC, and other SEN needs.
- Work 1:1 with students or in small groups to help with their studies.
- Work with the SENCo, the SEN team, and the SLT to provide the best support and care for the children, creating an environment for them to flourish.
- Become a friendly and reliable face for students throughout the school.
ASD Teaching Assistant | About You:
- A degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs.
- Resilience, fantastic interpersonal and communication skills, and a calm temperament.
- Aspirations to have a career in education or to become a psychologist.
- Dedication to providing the best education around.
Location: Southbury, Enfield
Employment Type: Full-time Monday to Friday 8:30 AM to 3:35 PM
Salary: £450 – £550 PAYE (No umbrella) per week. Depending on experience
