Ortus Recruitment are seeking an SEN experienced Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Autism on a one-to-one basis in a 3 form, mainstream primary school located in the London Borough of Camden. This Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school features well-equipped facilities and an experienced and supportive team of mainstream educators and SEN specialists.

This is a full time position and the successful candidate may secure a permanent position.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with SEN pupils
• Possess a level 3 Teaching qualification i.e CACHE or a relevant degree i.e. Psychology
• Have a patient and compassionate nature
• Be passionate about SEN and ASC

Role Specification:

• Working one-to-one with an ASC pupil
• Full-time, Mon-Fri
• £75- £90 rate per day

Role Requirements:

• Provide 2 references
• Provide proof of right to work in the UK
• Have an enhanced DBS on the update server OR be willing to apply for one
• Have 3-6 months of classroom experience
