Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: London Borough of Ealing
Contract Type: Full-time / Term-time only
Salary: £95–£110 per day (depending on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join our team in the London Borough of Ealing. The successful candidate will work closely with pupils across secondary school settings to support positive behaviour, encourage engagement in learning, and help young people overcome barriers to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties.
  • Support classroom teachers in implementing behaviour strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Develop personalised behaviour plans and monitor pupil progress.
  • Build trusting relationships with pupils to encourage self-confidence, resilience, and respect for others.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies where appropriate.
  • Act as a positive role model, promoting good behaviour and attitudes to learning.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally in a school setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and supporting pupils with additional needs (e.g., ADHD, autism, SEMH).

Desirable:

  • Relevant qualifications in education, youth work, or behaviour management.
  • Training in de-escalation or restorative approaches.
