Ortus recruitment are proud to announce that our partnered SEN school currently have a new opening for an experienced behaviour mentor to join their team. The school cater for vulnerable children with autism and seek for a candidate who has had experience working with SEN. The school is situated in Kennington, the member of staff is very welcoming and they have an excellent senior leadership team that will provide support when needed. The school is an excellent establishment that want all their vulnerable pupil to flourish, by being able to provide them with the support system they need for them to achieve academically. This role will be full-time Monday to Friday (08:30am – 16:00pm).

Requirements:

• Graduate of a core subject (Maths, English, Science, Psychology, Drama)
• Experience working with children in a professional environment
• Experience working with SEN (desirable not essential)
• Able to develop positive relationships
• Excellent time management and organisation skills
• Able to stay calm and objective when presented with unusual or challenging behaviour

Please Note: We welcome applicants with degrees beyond this or relevant qualifications for working with children.
