Ortus Recruitment are seeking for a Behaviour Mentor to join our mainstream primary school with an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report. The primary school is based in Clapham South and has good transportation links. This is a Full-Time position (Monday to Friday) and the Behaviour Mentor needs excellent behavioural management skills as well as experience in working with challenging student behaviour within the KS1-KS2 level.

This is a rewarding position, and you will be a valuable member to the team with the support you will be providing to the vulnerable pupils. This offers you the perfect opportunity to get your foot into a professional child centric environment and you will also be given support along the way by senior members of the school.

The ideal candidate:

· Have a passion to want to work with young people who need help

· Someone looking to gain valuable experience working with SEMH students, such as an aspiring rehabilitation officer or social worker.

· Available to start immediately

· Available to work in Wandsworth Common

· Behaviour Support Worker role

· £80-£90 per day PAYE

· Excellent behavioural management skills

· Comfortable dealing with challenging behaviour

· Level 3+ or degree desired in Criminology, Sociology, Physical Education, Math’s, English and Psychology ideally but similar would be considered.

· Experience is desirable not essential.
