Ortus recruitment are currently looking for an individual to work in a primary school in croydon as a Behaviour mentor.

The school has an Ofsted ‘Outstanding’ for their last report and a strong leadership team who aim to provide high quality standards of education.

The ideal candidate will be resilient and have some previous experience working with challenging behaviour and SEN but not entirely essential for the role.

Behaviour Mentor responsibilities include:

· To establish productive working relationships with your key pupil, encouraging and motivating them.

· Raising achievement by providing a specialist service that assists schools in meeting their targets and obligations.

· Being a friend to a student with behavioural issues, giving them someone to confide in and trust.

· To challenge and motivate pupils, promoting and reinforcing self esteem alongside providing levels of individual pastoral support.
