Ortus recruitment are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to work inside a Pupil Referral Unit in the Richmond area. This is an exciting opportunity which has great potential of becoming permanent if you perform well. The school you’ll be working in support children with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) difficulties, you’ll be tasked with working with a child aged 11 years old. The work you’ll be doing is 1:1 and you’ll be tasked with creating resources and activities for the child to develop his learning and social skills. This role is a challenging but exciting position which can help any aspiring teachers who have a passion for helping children who are un-able to attend mainstream school due to their difficulties.

This school is located in the heart of Richmond and has great transport links both train and bus. They’re supported by extremely experienced professionals who are ready to take on a new Mentor. They’re more than prepared to help you adapt to this new environment and make sure that you have a strong understanding of the children you’ll be working with.
