Position Overview:

As a Behavior Mentor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting individuals as they work to overcome behavioral obstacles in their personal and academic development. You will collaborate closely with students, teachers, and other professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes personal growth and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer one-on-one mentoring and support to individuals struggling with behavioral challenges.
  • Develop individualized behavior plans and strategies tailored to address specific needs.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Encourage social and emotional development through effective communication and guidance.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to monitor progress and implement effective interventions.
  • Promote self-awareness and personal growth in those you mentor.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on individual progress.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals facing behavioral challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Empathy and patience in working with individuals dealing with behavioral difficulties.
  • Commitment to promoting a safe and inclusive environment for those you support.
