Ortus Recruitment is working on behalf of a large school based in Croydon. This mainstream primary school are looking for a Teaching Assistant with a proven track record of improving negative behaviour patterns and supporting pupils with SEMH, helping to remove barriers to learning.

This is a fulltime, long term position starting in September with virtual interviews being held immediately.

Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant:

• Working across the primary age range.
• Nurturing and mentoring vulnerable pupils.
• September 2022 Start
• Full Time & Long-Term
• Located in the Borough of Croydon £70 – £85 daily rate

This primary School is big and recently constructed with bright and open classrooms, they are well resourced have great sporting facilities. They have a diverse intake, servicing a large area of the community. It is essential that applicants have the skillset and attitude to hit the ground running and make themselves an asset form day one.

Requirements:

• Experience working with Challenging Behaviour.
• Experience of working within Primary Schools.
• Degree level educated with a strong academic background.
• Ability to hit the ground running.
• Proactive, reliable and committed in nature.
• Proven skills in positive behaviour management.
